Dr. Danielle Silver first discovered her passion for pediatric dentistry after experiencing dental trauma as a child. The care and kindness she received from her pediatric dentist helped her heal her smile. Inspired by that impact, Dr. Silver set out to create the same sense of comfort and trust for her own patients. She values the importance of early, positive dental experiences and is committed to creating a supportive environment where children and their families feel nurtured and cared for.
Dr. Silver grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut. She attended Muhlenberg College for her undergraduate education with degrees in Neuroscience and Political Science before earning her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. During her time at UPenn, she also completed a Master of Public Health at the Perelman School of Medicine, strengthening her commitment to improving oral health on both individual and community levels.
Following dental school, Dr. Silver completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, where she served as Chief Resident. She participated in multiple dental outreach initiatives, gaining valuable experience delivering oral health care to diverse and underserved populations. Dr. Silver finds great joy in helping children feel comfortable, confident, and even excited about visiting the dentist. Her gentle approach and genuine warmth help ease anxiety and build trust with both her patients and their families.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Silver enjoys traveling, true crime novels, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her 2 dogs.
