Dr. Monica Tanna is a board-certified pediatric dentist, specializing in the dental care of children of all ages. Dr. Tanna earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. She completed her general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center, where she solidified her desire to become a pediatric dentist. Dr. Tanna continued her training and obtained her specialty degree in pediatric dentistry at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center.
After completion of her training, Dr. Tanna spent two years in California working in private practice, gathering more experience in all aspects of pediatric dentistry. She moved back to New York and continued working in private practice. In addition, she served as a clinical assistant professor at New York University College of Dentistry. Currently, she is a volunteer attending in the Department of Dental Medicine at Northwell Health.
Dr. Tanna is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and New York State Dental Association. Dr. Tanna is excited to meet her pediatric patients and their families. Her goal is to establish a positive dental experience from a young age and create an oral health plan for each individual based on their dental needs.
In her free time, Dr. Tanna loves to exercise and spend time with her husband and children.
